My aero modelling all started back in the 1960’s as a school boy building and flying a keil kraft glider from Alexandra palace and then on to single channel R/C or bang bang control,
Next it was flying from Wanstead flats using the old flight link control plus a bit of control line flying as well. Then when I moved to Norfolk I joined the Norwich Model Aero Club in 1990. The Flair Magnattila is an old favourite of mine, this photo is of the one I built in 1990 and used a HP engine, the one below was built in 2011 and is powered by electric.
